A reason Our Gang didn't last longer than it did is because of all the animals they featured, including some of their unique circuses, they never had an okapi. And I find that heptagons are too often neglected: pentagons, hexagons, and octagons are common, but heptagons never get the respect they deserve.

In Britain heptagons are valued, at fifty pence each. 3-2-1-O G! Had me stumped, for almost a second, but the exclamation mark gave it away. 1-2-3-GO!

Ha ha, IMPRESS HER VIOLENT GHOST = ROOSEVELT PERSHING SMITH . Thank goodness it wasn't "shivering topless mother," a reference to the ending of "Beginner's Luck," perhaps.
Thank you for the heptagon news; I feel much better now.
I couldn't decide between my other two ideas, FLOUR AGEING 9631 FOOLS AND FLOUR AGEING 9831 FOOLS . Which is better?

I told you that ROOSEVELT PERSHING SMITH was an obscure name it's also a veritable mine of anagrams. FLOUR AGEING 9631 FOOLS AND FLOUR AGEING 9831 FOOLS? Always begs the question, whatever happened to FLOUR AGEING 9731 FOOLS? Not to mention 3179, 1379 etc, etc. It's difficult to choose, one was better produced, flashy and amusing while the other was more in keeping with the 'let's have a show in the cellar' spirit of the gang. In the end I wouldn't want to disappoint Philip MacMahon and wipe that fixed chirpy grin from his face so I'll opt for FLOUR AGEING 9831 FOOLS = OUR GANG FOLLIES OF 1938
Next BOG S-HIT
BTW: There isn't really a hyphen in the name, I was forced to put that in to avoid the second word from being changed to nuts, for some bizarre reason.

You could have used THIS BOG or BOG HITS or SOG BITS to get BIG SHOT. Note there was Big Shot Jones in "Tale of a Dog," but also the little kid in "Going to Press," was also called Big Shot. He was in four other films, clearly as Buckwheat's little brother in "Benjamin Franklin, Jr." Wonder if he was ever considered a possible replacement.
You didn't hear that FLOUR AGEING 9731 FOOLS was actually HIM ERR, THOU NINNY!

So were there three Big Shots in Our Gang in total? Wikipedia also lists...
Cordell "Big Shot" Hickman (1937, 1944)
I could have used alternatives to BOG S-HIT but they weren't as naughty. Naughtiness being defined by certain words not being allowed.
HIM ERR, THOU NINNY! = REUNION IN RHYTHM (after they decided to drop the punctuation marks)

Big Shot Jones was played by Cordell Hickman, so that's not a third Big Shot.
STOP EGO RINGS! = GOING TO PRESS . An exclamation point certainly belongs to "Stop the presses!"

Thanks for straightening out my Big Shot confusion, which could have been avoided if Wikipedia had simply listed him as...

Sorry if my posting of numerous anagrams of Olympic Games is getting boring but some of the series titles, characters and actor's name have multiple possible anagrams and it seems a shame not to utilise them. I suppose it might help if there were more than two participants in this game.
Anyway, RICO, DAN & MOOSE, INC. = EDISON, MARCONI & CO.
