I thought the anagrams had to be real words. "COL" could be used in place of "LOC". Anyway,

I cheated: Loc is the Romanian word for Place. But yes, a col (mountain valley/gap) would have been a better choice.

TROOPS HIRING THEMSELVES: commas, apostrophes etc that aren't in the original words are also allowed, if they help the anagram to make more grammatical sense. However if any are present in the original words then they must be included in any anagrams made from those words. TROOPS HIRING THEMSELVES = VIOLET PERSHING SMOTHERS but whether that's the correct answer or not I have no idea. I have no idea who she is but I can't find any Our Gang actors, characters or titles that I'm aware of with the combination of letters that you set. |
