I just found this picture of Dickie Moore on eBay but I'm not going to bid on it. However I figured that maybe someone else might like to see it. That's an excellently planned publicity shot of Dickie Moore. It gives him the look of a leading man of Hollywood in the making. Of course, by that time he was already a bona fide "leading man" in the motion picture industry, albeit of much smaller physical stature than Clark Gable or Trevor Howard.

Oh, I had never seen that photo! Eugene Lee was already taller than Jerry Marenghi, I notice, even though he had probably just celebrated his fifth birthday within the past month or two. Of course, Eugene Lee was rather tall for a five-year-old, the same height as ten-year-old George McFarland (then again, George McFarland was quite short). This is the only other picture I have of Jerry Marenghi, again from Tiny Troubles. Attachments:

From MGM's promotion for the sale of their 52 shorts to TV in the 1950's. "Hop aboard... for high ratings!". Oh, the irony. Attachments:

Circa 1938. Buckwheat, Darla, Porky, and Alfalfa, no doubt reacting to Hal Roach telling them about their future at MGM. Attachments:

Circa 1934. The Gang celebrating a game of baseball. Back row: Sidney Kibrick, Jerry Tucker, John Collum, Cecilia Murray (the little girl in "Anniversary Trouble", and was indeed related to Bud Murray), unknown, Leonard Kibrick, and Stymie. Front row: Pete, Scotty Beckett, Buckwheat, and Spanky. Interesting that the Gang had an integrated baseball team long before the Brooklyn Dodgers did. Attachments:
