It's the same boy in both the "Bored Of Education" and "Pinch Singer" images, but they're both Donald Proffitt. I thought that he looked like Donald but as his name wasn't on the cast list at IMDb I just assumed it was my imagination, after all I also suspected that it might have been Henry Thomas too and he wasn't even born then  Attachments:

I thought that he looked like Donald but as his name wasn't on the cast list at IMDb I just assumed it was my imagination, after all I suspected that it might have been Henry Thomas too and wasn't even born then My guess is Donald (like Leonard) isn't credited because that scene was deleted. |

I think Alfalfa is in a wheelbarrow. That's a good photo of Eugene Lee in his later days with The Gang. Most photos I've seen of him are from his early Our Gang appearances, before he had many lines. |

It would have never even entered my thinking to venture him as a possibility. Well, thanks for the compliment, but I've actually made some errors like that over the years. It's possible that the cellist is some other kid who looks similar to Donald, but it's not Daniel Boone, nor any of the other kids that have been identified by me or by Maltin & Bann. There's two dilemmas that come up when eyeballing actors: The first is that sometimes you can look at two images of the same kid and think it's two different kids, and the second is that you can look at images of two different kids and think they're the same kid. I've made mistakes due to both of these situations, and it's clear that Maltin & Bann did at times as well. It's definitely not an exact science. |
