Did Hardy ever have any disagreements with Roach?

I remember seeing Monty Python on WQED-13 in Pittsburgh in the mid-'70s. They weren't bad.

There's only one Dorothy of consequence in Our Gang, so I though my meaning would be clear! And yes, of course, her bit in "Love Business" is a classic. Which Dorothy are you referring to? De Borba or another Dorothy? Dorothy Deborba is part of what is my favorite 'Our Gang' gag in LOVE BUSINESS from 1931, and I agree that at times, she did seem a bit underused, possibly in part due to that early '30s 'Our Gang' cast being so exceptional. IMO Dorothy's reaction scene in "Free Eats" to the so-called talking babies is priceless.

Speaking of which, our company mentioned Hallmark Movies Now among the channels in the free preview week, but when I clicked on their logo there was a message saying something like "No programming at this time" or something to that effect.

When cable companies remove channels you frequently watch.

Mainly the Jackie [Cooper]-Chubby-Farina-Wheezer-Mary Ann group, though I'm also partial to Baby Spanky, Stymie and Dorothy.

I first heard the version with the "N" word in some public service announcement-forget what it was for-on TV in the late '60s-early '70s period.

I have the set of all the Roach talkies from Genius Entertainment as well as a DVD with a documentary about the Rascals-forget the title now.

If I recall none of the shorts had the generic King World titles. There was one Alfalfa-era film that had a somewhat different looking title when AMC ran the shorts.

The Mike Douglas Show twice jumped. First in 1978 when the show moved from Philadelphia to Hollywood, and second when he switched syndicators after Group W dumped him for John Davidson.

In fact it was seventeen years ago this week, if I recall that AMC picked up the Rascals shorts. That's how I got into them.

Right before The Three Stooges. That was a great combination.
