The Roach Rascals were part of AMC's schedule between 2001-2002, shortly before the network completely retooled. Initially, the shorts included wrap-arounds with "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz. These segments were later dropped, and a short promo (where an announcer would say, "Join Spanky, Alfalfa, and the rest of Our Gang in 'The Little Rascals'") was added.
Anyone have any of this material?

Good luck with your quest. I'm in England, so the channel was never available over here.

Right before The Three Stooges. That was a great combination.

I taped every one of them. It took five 6 hour tapes. However, they're in a box at my folk's home and I've since relocated to another state. I've only taken all DVDs and a few old VHS tapes of more sentimental value.

Right before The Three Stooges. That was a great combination. Indeed, and following an unofficial tradition local stations seemed to have. I specifically remember the Saturday and Sunday morning airings, right before AMC completely rebranded itself. As I recall, the films were pretty much uncut. I definitely remember seeing previously banned material like the Uncle Tom's Cabin show in "Spanky," as well as Spanky picking up Harry Lowe, Jr. from the Chinese laundromat in "Washee Ironee." As I recall, the pre-Alfalfa shorts retained the original opening titles, but most of the later films had the King World Little Rascals titles. And this could be total Mandela effect but I remember new music being added to parts of "Washee Ironee." I do know music was added to "Bouncing Babies," but I missed the airing of it.

In fact it was seventeen years ago this week, if I recall that AMC picked up the Rascals shorts. That's how I got into them.

If I recall none of the shorts had the generic King World titles. There was one Alfalfa-era film that had a somewhat different looking title when AMC ran the shorts.

Ah, okay, could have been total Mandela Effect then. I specifically recall seeing the one-reel era title card being used on "Divot Diggers." But again, could be Mandela Effect, which also made me remember different scoring added to the AMC airing of "Washee Ironee."

I never viewed the AMC airings as their airing coincided with our not having cable for several years from 1999 - 2006. However, I do distinctly recall seeing the one reel era title card on Channel 43, Lorraine-Cleveland Sunday Morning airings around the late '80s to very early '90s. CHEERS!
