I wonder where Joe bought these socks.

He probably got them from the same store that this kid's mum shopped at. I wish the photo was in colour, but then you'd probably need to wear dark glasses just to look at it or risk feeling ill. I think that vividly patterned sock and sweaters were a bit of a fashion craze in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

I just love this photo, Harry's expression almost seems to say 'Don't bother me, I am fixing things, so go away or I'll fix you with this hammer."

I just bought this on eBay. Allegedly Harry had another set of footwear exactly the same, except that when he wore it the boot was on the other foot

I recently bought this photo of one of my favorite Rascals. He's right up there with Harry & Alfie in the 'loads of freckles and no front teeth' club. It's the only portrait photo of Sherwood that I've ever seen of him that was taken during his time with the Gang. I guess there are probably others around but so far I've never come across any of them.

This is my 999th post so I'm going to post a couple of my favorite GIFs, well a GIF is still a picture, only it's one that moves magically, just like those photos in Harry Potter films. And you can't have one without the other, it just wouldn't be right

My 1000th post, is a picture that I've posted before, in fact it was the first picture that I ever posted on here. I now realize that if I was forced to get rid of all my Our Gang, and other movie related, items and allowed to keep just one item, this would be it. Okay, so it predates his appearance in Our Gang but it's still the one and only Harry

Just when I thought that I'd seen all the available images of Our Gang that have been posted online I got a nice surprise and stumbled across one that I hadn't seen before... "Okay sir, can you identify the one who threw the custard pie at your donkey?"

There was something of the little devil about Harry I decided to colorize that image.

Me, I'm more spooked by the shadowy face in the window wearing what looks like a tinfoil derby...

This is one of my favorite pictures of Spanky. It's rather casual and quite charming.

Did anyone notice how Hard-boiled Harry disappeared after his fine 1000th post? I do hope that all is well with him! CHEERS!

He's so much of a fan, he even left in true Harry Spears style: mysteriously! :-)

He's so much of a fan, he even left in true Harry Spears style: mysteriously! :-) That thought occurred to me as well, Mark! Perhaps that's the way Hard-boiled Harry planned it? There's certainly worse ways to go! Still, it would be nice to hear from him, if he's willing and able. CHEERS!

Boy, looking at my colorized image again, I see that everyone looks rather pale. Forgive me if I've given anyone nightmares. Creating realistic skin color is one of the most challenging things to do in the colorziation process. Hard Boiled Harry's enthusiasm (particularly for Mr. Spear) is definitely missed. I just hope he doesn't further imitate Spear by deciding to deny he was ever a member of the forum! I always get a kick out of seeing the old Our Gang theatrical posters (not so much the later "Little Rascals" Monogram posters with the randomly chosen cast listings, but they're nice and colorful, I guess). But I don't quite understand this one for "Little Mother." Why is Farina in a baby buggy? It just seems more odd than funny. www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/one-sheet-movie-poster-advertises-the-comedy-little-mother-news-photo/538543313
