I first heard about this just an hour or two ago. I always think of Elizabeth Taylor for her part opposite Mickey Rooney and Jackie Jenkins in National Velvet, and for the villainous role of Helena Cassadine that she originated on General Hospital in 1981 at the renowned wedding of Luke and Laura Spencer, a role that has since been picked up by other actresses, but nonetheless still continues today.
Elizabeth Taylor's presence will be missed.

Rest in Peace, Elizabeth Taylor. You will be missed by all of us.
During the NBC Nightly News tribute to Taylor, there was a clip of her singing with Alfalfa. What movie was that from?

I'm pretty sure that Carl Switzer's duet with Elizabeth Taylor was in the 1942 movie, There's One Born Every Minute. Both actors also both appeared in Courage of Lassie (1946), but I believe that their duet was in that first film.

After reading through the thread attached to that last link, it looks to me as if Elizabeth Taylor also knew Robert Blake very well. To quote KJW's post, "Liz Taylor is also good friends and to this day with Robert Blake, for those who wanted to know what gang members she has ties to." So, she's linked with Gangsters Scotty Beckett, Carl Switzer and Mickey Gubitosi, at the very least.

On time when I was walking through Macy's Department Store, a sales clerk asked me if I'd like to try Elizabeth Taylor's Passion for men. I said "She's too old for me."
