I've been a fan since the late 70's when I first heard my aunt's records. Actually, to say I am "a fan" is a huge understatement. I belong to a Beatles forum just like this "Rascals" forum. Anyone interested should check it out: www.beatlelinks.net/forums/index.php?

Bob, do you have the full 8 minute version of "Dig It?" I think the reason you're having trouble finding it is that it's never been officially released. And if it was, it wouldn't be available for downloading since none of the Beatles' material is (at least not legally). But as with most Beatles recordings, it's shown up on numerous bootlegs, so yes, I've got it.

I got it now. I had to download the whole "Celluloid Rock" bootleg album to get it.

What else is on that bootleg? I haven't listened to them all yet, but when I downloaded the bootleg, it was in a zip file (.rar) and when I extracted it, it came with the front and back cover. From the tracklisting on the back cover, they appear to be covers, and remixes or different takes of their own songs: 1. I've Got a Feeling (Lennon/McCartney) 2. Shake, Rattle and Roll (Caihoun) 3. Medley: Kansas City (Leiber/Stoller/Penniman) Miss Ann (Johnson-Penniman) Lawdy Miss Clawdy (Price) 4. Blue Suede Shoes (Perkins) 5. You Really Got a Hold On Me (Robinson) 6. Get Back (Lennon/McCartney) 7. The Long and Winding Road (Lennon/McCartney) 8. Let It Be (Lennon/McCartney) 9. Don't Let Me Down (Lennon/McCartney) 10. For You Blue (Harrison) 11. The Walk (McCartney) 12. Teddy Boy (McCartney) 13. Two of Us (Lennon McCartney) 14. Dig a Pony (Lennon/McCartney) 15. Dig It (Lennon/McCartney)

Looks like it all comes from the Jan. 1969 Get Back/Let It Be sessions. Probably a lot of the tracks derive from the unreleased "Get Back" album.

Anyone going to see "Across the Universe"? It looks very good. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ6d3m-GFywI really, really like their rendition of "Hey Jude" that you can hear at the end of the preview.

My initial reaction to seeing the trailer for the firs time was, "Eek-gadz!!!". It looks as if it is "trying too hard". I don't plan to see it in the theatre but I may Netflix it, perhaps.

I personally enjoy it quite a bit. I'm amazed at how well the vocal track from "Within You Without You" fits the instrumental track from "Tomorrow Never Knows."

I looked at the "Love" cover to see if there were any clues about Paul being dead. I'm half kidding. Only half.

I think I've heard about a couple of clues on that release but can't remember what they were. The people who make it their hobby to look for that stuff always find new clues whenever a new CD is put out.
