I personally have trouble thinking of pet peeves if someone asks. On might be how I always seem to enter my e-mail password logging on here! "Come on, work. Ugh! WORK! Oh wait..... p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d. There we go" ;D
I hate it when people breath heavy on me! I developed this peeve when I was around 14, and find myself getting angry when someone breaths heavy on me! Can't stand it! Ugh!

Well, he was the runt of the litter, and we thought he'd probably not survive his first week of life. But we bottle-fed him and he ended up being the biggest and strongest puppy of them all, eventually overtaking his siblings and devouring them. He does have this really irritating habit of leaving the refrigerator door open, though, so we named him Peeve.

I have two - people who are never wrong (even when they're proved wrong), and people who try to make themselves look good by making me look bad, when I haven't done anything wrong.
There are lots of things that annoy me but with regard to forums one thing that puzzles me, more than annoying me, is people who join/register with a forum and then never make any posts, not even a single one.
Be aware that I am autistic, so my mind does not work in the same way as the minds of the majority of other people. I have a tendency to do things differently and to react in unexpected ways to situations. I may come across as quirky and eccentric or just plain weird. I am very literal and prone to 'black and white' thinking.
My pet peeve? Public whistling. Yes, as amazing as it might seem, it's quite possible not everyone in your immediate vicinity wants to see the first two lines of the chorus of 'I'm Gonna Hire A Wino To Decorate Our Home' in a piercing, off-key screech, intersped with birdcalls.
Worse, if the kind of person who's socially clueless enough to whistle in public is also socially clueless enough that glares, icy looks, pressing one's temples, etc. make no impact. They just keep right on piping away...

Commercials. Most are lame, idiotic and annoying. The ones that attempt to be funny are almost never funny and the ones that attempt to be serious are almost always too moronic to be taken seriously.
I pretty much agree with what you wrote about commercials but once in a blue metallic moon, one comes along that is actually amusing.

When people say things like "Ummmm..." and "You Know?" too many times in conversations.
How about if they say Uh-huh?

I once had a pet peeve but it caught a virus and the vet couldn't save it. I buried in my back garden.
