If you look at the photo gallery at Our Gang Follies and any of the 'Wild Poses' photo albums, and multiply those by about 10, then that'll give you an idea of my collection.

I want to say in '91 or '92 there was a HUGE Baseball card show in Pasadena, Ca and had probably over 100+ Baseball H.O.F. signing autographs from Ted Williams, Ernie Banks, Mickey Mantle, and the names go on and on.. I was in heaven getting all these autographs of all these H.O.F. players. As the day was ending I noticed in a seperate room in the back of the venue was Spanky, Porky & Butch sitting signing autographs to only a few people in the room. I felt like I died and went to heaven! The only thing I had was a baseball for them to sign and got all 3 of them to sign my baseball with Spanky on the sweetspot.
I spent the whole weekend getting all these ball players autographs and have a huge collection of baseballs, bats, footballs and pictures signed by all these sports legends but for me my prize collection out of all of this is my autograph baseball signed by 3 of The Little Rascals.
I managed to talk to each of them for about 5 minutes each and all I remember how excited I was to be able tell them thank you for bringing a smile to my face for all these years I grew up watching the episodes.. All 3 of them were so nice to me and took the time to talk to me that I will never forget it.
They were really a class act and that ball is my prized collection. If there is any interest I can take a picture of it and post it?

Hello!
Thought I'd share a little of what I have.
Let's see...I have tons of photos, dvds/vhs tapes that I have collected over time. (I keep them all stored safely in a trunk in my room. lol) Most of the photos are up on my wall though.
....But I would have to say that my most prized possession would be that of Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer's signature. (I have a photo if anyone would like to see it.) Words can't even describe how much he, as a person, means to me.

My favorite, and as an antique dealer, I've had it a couple of times, is a little yellow Our Gang storybook from 1929. It is in brilliant color and features a picture on the front of the Gang peeking out of the pages of a giant book, and inside there is a full color portrait of each Gang member with a little bit about each kid on the opposite page. It's found fairly commonly and turns up on Ebay every so often. I swapped a really nice copy a few years ago for a large amount of silents on VHS, and at some point I'd like to find that book again. I believe it was sold in Woolworths and such, and may have also been a giveaway at some point since it's quite common.

I just opened a shop on Ruby Lane and I noticed that another dealer there has a package of "Our Gang" marbles! The original price is 10 cents and they are just in a generic sort of package, but the cardboard top of the bag has a photo of the late Silent MGM kids on it and they're just called "Our Gang Marbles". Seems that the same company made many different kinds of marbles sets. I don't know how old they are, but with a 10 cents price tag they certainly seem to be vintage. They're only $15 - I debated but I really can't justify even spending a small amount on myself this time of year --so if anyone is interested, go grab 'em! Here's the link: www.rubylane.com/shops/adreamremembered/item/JA002514

My impression is that they're not vintage. The illustration derives from one of the "Heebee Jeebees" lobby cards, which is an image that's been recreated in recent years. Those marbles have been on eBay numerous times over the years. The sellers always talk about how rare they are, and yet they always have them in the original unopened bag in mint condition and going for very little money.

Interesting - I've never seen them before, but then again, I've never looked. Here is another "possible" OG collectible. A small blonde bisque doll in the original box labeled Jean Darling. It's made in japan and a lot of that stuff wasn't copyrighted. It would be interesting to know if they were just borrowing Jean's name, or what. Here it is: www.rubylane.com/shops/dianesdolls/item/329Dated 1934.

I believe that's one of the items that Jean's mother contracted. By this time, Jean was no longer with the Gang, but was still fairly well-known.

Nice to be back for a visit :-)
It is a toss up for my favorite collectible. I have a signed book from miss Laura June Kenny and a nice size collection of their films. Many of which are originals. I could only DREAM of having the film collection that Robin C. has.

I'd say the most meaningful collectable I have is a photo signed by my dad ("Junior) -- It is a photo still of him sitting on a wodden crate among a pile of bannana peels, with Porky (Gordon Lee) and Pete the pup next to him. The episode this photo came from was "Pigskin Palooka". His inscription includes he "pet name" for me. He wrote, "To my Punkin' -- your a-peel has made time slip away."

This photo of Alfie is the star of my collection but I'm still hoping to add a signed photo of Harry Spear at some point too. Although this still is from Sea Scamps it's still my favorite Harry Spear collectable I also really like my photo of Scooter wearing a top hat

Perhaps my newest acquisition might be my best item so far...

My favourite item isn't technically an Our Gang item at all. It's a page from an autograph book signed by Tommy Bupp, but not while he was in Our Gang, it was signed while he was visiting England in 1938 to film "Hey, Hey USA!" with Will Hay.
