Another Shocking Bit of Rascality

Recently rewatched 'Forgotten Babies', where the Gang dump their baby siblings off on Spanky to babysit so they can go "swimming in the raw," ie skinny-dipping.

All well and good, but I just noticed (and I can't believe I never caught it before) at least one of the Gang is a GIRL.

Did she go skinny-dipping with the boys? Or did they make her watch the clothes or something? Didn't she realize she's liable to get a bad reputation doing things like that?

I'm a little surprised they didn't try to stick her with the babies instead of Spanky. Maybe she refused to do it or was so awful at it before they knew better than to ask her again.

Shocking, and disgusting. Every reason for me not to watch the short.  And was the girl in question Dorothy?

Makes sense as to why the short is likely banned.

Assuming their posts aren't deliberately satiric, I think there are two people in this thread who are trying too hard.

P.S. Yes, the girl in the gang at the time was Dorothy. And to my knowledge, "Forgotten Babies" has never been banned for any reason.

Oh, and perhaps worth noting, this is the same person who insisted Darla wasn't 'really' a Rascal because she was generally not shown hanging out with the Gang.

Some stuff going on here, perhaps in addition to the attempts at moral superiority...

The film is so carelessly tossed together that it's hard to say whether this implication is meant as a sly wink toward the audience or rather as proof that none of those involved cared enough to notice that something was amiss.
