Dorothy Dandridge in Our Gang

First of all, I'd like to say how glad I am to be back after 15 years away from this board. I am glad to see how the series' online presence has created new fans, even those younger than me (and I'm not that old)

With that out the way, I want to discuss the subject of Dorothy Dandridge. It has been mentioned on this board that she appeared in "Teacher's Beau" as a classroom stand-in for one of the older Cabin Kids: The Cabin Kids? Where are they?

After a decade and not being able to find any visual evidence online, so I decided to create my own.

So here is a picture of young Dorothy as a child.



I decided to watch the classroom scene of "Teacher's Beau" over and over again until I finally spotted her sitting behind Stymie. Note the forehead and chin.
She would have been about 12 or 13 years old.

Yep. There's a behind the scenes photo that gives us a better look at her, but I haven't been able to see it in a long time.

I've seen that photo. It was just great to get visual evidence from the actual short itself, considering some publicity photos feature people who weren't in the the actual short. BTW, I'm having trouble adding the screenshots so I've added them to imgur. imgur.com/a/1XZpgZQ
