Rascal Silents Coming to Blu-Ray

I've been informed that four of the Our Gang silents from Mr. Tim Romano -

Coming this fall, I will start releasing BluRay discs of Pathe Our Gang Comedies. I have been working on restoring these for the past year. It is very hard to find useable prints and negatives. However I am happy to say that the first volume will be made of restorations made from the Original Camera Negatives. Thanks to The Library of Congress and Geo Willeman for allowing me access to these. These will all be 2K restorations for maximum quality. I have included in this post some interesting things that I have so far found. These are clips that nobody has probably ever seen or noticed since most of the prints out there are in poor condition or washed out dupes. On the clips, keep an eye on the left side of the screen. On the pics, see if you can figure out what's interesting in the shot. Note: These are full frame scans of the pre restorations.

Not able to include the clips in this post, but I can show screen grabs of them. Keep your eye on the left side of this fist still from THE BIG SHOW.

Forgot to mention the content thus far will likely be THE BIG SHOW, DOGS OF WAR!, DERBY DAY, and THE SUN DOWN LIMITED. All pretty commonly found shorts, but the HD quality should be a nice bonus.

I wonder if The Big Show and Sundown will have the original titles, if all of these are original camera negatives.

Ah, thanks for reminding me yet another thing I stupidly failed to mention.

Only the camera negative for Reel 2 of Sun Down has been located for this project. Reel 1 - or something decent enough to be usable - is still being searched for.
