I have a story up on Fan Fiction Dot Net about a medallion that can transform people into who was last wearing clothes that touch the medallion. With fresh/unworn clothing it turns you into the gender/age the clothing was meant for.
I can imagine Alfalfa accidentally touching some of Darla's old clothes to it while looking through her stuff.

LOL, very good. The late great John Hughes did male and female versions of this in National Lamthingy, ages ago. Here's one: www.tgfa.org/fiction/Mygirl thingy.htm

The Our Gang version is just a half-written idea at the moment. If Alfalfa is looking through Darla's old clothes and toys etc. and one of them touches the magic medallion/necklace, he'll be turned into a really young physical replica of Darla. I think the girls in the Gang will take full advantage of it. Especially if some of them have a desire for revenge that they've kept hidden and want to show Alfie just what its like when the world expects you to play with dolls instead of try out for the baseball team.

I'd love to do an Our Gang fic where Alfalfa falls victim to a magical ballet costume that turns him into a female child ballerina. Delicate skin and hands, long hair and everything.
Being a girl in the Depression won't be easy for Alfalfa (Darla: I think we should call you Agnes now!)
