Incidentally, Billy Lee also turns up in 'The Pinch Singer' as one of the tap-dancers in the 'Broadway Melody' number. You can see him mugging for the camera at one point.

Dickie's there too, but Billy's the one who does the flapper eye-roll...

This is really a hard one, so many of them are adorable. But yes, of the boys, Scotty was definitely the cutest (with Dickie Moore, Spanky and Wheezer very closely behind). It seemed that whenever a cute little boy was needed in films from 1933 to 1944, Scotty was the Number 1 choice of the studios (apart from Hal Roach during his time in "Our Gang" from 1934-1935, I don't believe he was under contract again until he signed with MGM in 1947). He seemed to be doing a lot of freelancing throughout his childhood acting years. "Stand Up And Cheer!" (1934) "Dante's Inferno" (1935) "Conquest" (1937) "Listen, Darling" (1938) "Gold Rush Maisie" (1940) "Kings Row" (1942) "Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves" (1944) Yep, Scotty takes the top honors in cuteness.

If Darla Hood was among the choices, I would vote for her hands down, though she was cuter in her later years with Our Gang.
But since she's not on the list, of the choices, I prefer Buckwheat more.

Slightly OT, but it's interesting that people tend to get Scotty Beckett and Dickie Moore mixed up. I guess I can see a resemblance... well, sorta... okay, not really.

Personally, I don't see much resemblance between Scotty and Dickie, apart from the big brown eyes. It's possible people get them confused because they twice played the same character at different ages in two films - "Gallant Lady" (1933), and "Heaven Can Wait" (1943). Their connections to "Our Gang" and Jane Powell may be another reason. Scotty made two films with Jane and they were good friends until Scotty's life began to spiral out of control, and Jane later married Dickie.
For all the times (4 in total I think) that they appeared together in movies, the only film where they actually interact on screen is "Dangerous Years" (1947).
There was a slight resemblance between them when they were young children but not really as adults.

There hasn't been too much mention of him on this thread, I don't think, but Jackie Condon was definitely quite adorable. Definitely one of my favorites from the silents.

Johnny Downs was very good-looking as a kid and as an adult With Mary Kornman in the 1930s

I adore Wheezer with all of my heart, but I think Scotty is cuter, for a few reasons. Excuse the poor photo quality, but he still manages to be one-hundred percent adorable when face-swapped with Spanky. That's a pretty difficult feat to pull off.
