Don't get excited it doesn't involve salacious nudity or a sex scandal, it's something much more down to earth. I'm sure that many, if not all of you, have seen and probably own vintage 'fan photos' which were sent out by film studios to fans who wrote and requested photos of their screen idols. A lot of those fan photos bear white pre-printed signatures. The obvious conclusion is that the actor signed the negative in black permanent ink and it appeared in white on the photos that were produced from that negative. Yes, it all makes perfect and practical sense, sense which one photo is now about to turn on it's head. Yes, it's Bobs Watson, who is taking a break during filming of Boys Town to sign some fan photos. Look carefully and you'll see that his pen nib had been dipped in white ink, the bottle of white ink can be clearly seen too. Furthermore if you look closely at the signatures on the photos in front of him, they're actually different, they're obviously hand signed and not pre-printed at all. So essentially although some, perhaps most, white signatures on fan photos were undoubtedly pre-printed at least some of them were not and those ones really were actually genuinely hand signed.

I'm a little amused the board has this directly over 'Gay Rascals?'. So if you're going down the thread list, it's...
A Shocking Revelation Gay Rascals?
Well, if nothing else, it's a way to revive interest in the board.

But once you made that post, it no longer reads like that. It's the quantum forum effect, to interact changes the outcome.
