May he rest in peace. Not many members of the Gang are left.

Wow, Dickie Moore died on the same day as Jean Darling. Just to give an idea of the likeliness of this happening (and at the risk of getting overly trivial at a time like this): No two Our Gang regulars had ever died on the same day of the same month - even in separate years. These two died on the same day in 2015, when only a small handful of regulars were still above ground. I think Robert Blake might be the only one still alive who was actually under long-term contract.

Dickie died three days after Jean. And five days before his 90th birthday.
How many actors that appeared in silent films (Our Gang or not) are still around? Mildred Kornman and Dorothy Morrison come to mind.

That's what I get for not reading carefully. I wanted to note the date of Moore's passing, so I found an article and skimmed down to the spot where it said "died on Sep. 4th," not realizing that the author was mentioning Jean Darling's death from a few days earlier. So in the words of Emily Litella: never mind.

Very sorry to hear the news of his death. Dickie Moore was one of my favorite Rascals. He cracked me up in "Free Wheeling"! R.I.P. Dickie... Mush and Milk

With the passing of Dick and Jean, am I correct in understanding that no other primary gang members from the Hal Roach era survive?

Looks so. And only Mildred Kornman and Jerry Tucker among secondary members. No telling how many one or two appearance members are left.
