Hi, New to the group. Could you help me ID who is in this photo and the time period? A guy named Robert Stuart AKA Buddy King said he was in this photo second from left. I find NO mention of his name anywhere. I think the person he marks as him looks like Bobby Hitchins AKA Robert E, who died in 1945. Robert Stuart was a member of Actor guild as Buddy King I have membership cards for late 1950's. He also has a band that he was said to have called Buddy King Band and he did M C work referring himself as a child actor of Our Gang. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?? Thanks for your time, Roxane

It's a still from "Fish Hooky" made in 1932 and released in 1933. The boy circled is Bobby Wheezer Hutchins. I can't find any info on your fellow.

Thanks Arno, You have confirmed my suspicions. You wonder why someone would go to the trouble all thoughs years of saying you were someone you were not. Guess before the internet it was much easier. The info was even ref in his obit. in the 1970s.

One more quick question??? Do you think that photo has any value as it has the other name on it and a circle around Wheezer?
The back of the photo is marked
Joe Bongi, Jr Photographic Specialists 633 Main St Buffalo NY 882-2622 or 856-3788
Thanks Roxane

I have an 11 x 14 copy of the same photo hanging in my rec room. I think I paid 10 bucks for it. I really don't think yours is worth much but I'm no expert. If it was on Ebay I wouldn't bid on it.

Thanks for your honesty. No real reason to keep it with his name on it its not worth it.
Have a great evening!

Buddy King was a man I called Buddy Daddy. He married my mother approximately 1960. He worked for Jack Ruby before the assassination of our beloved President John F. Kennedy. He disappeared in approx. 63 at the time of The Kennedy assassination. Mother got a divorce after he disappeared. I knew things that he shared that didn't put Ruby in a good light and controlled Buddy by calling to upset him daily and we 3met and he always talked too far away from the car for me to hear but he told me that Ruby was a thug lounge owner and Buddy was an entertainer and MC. He was about 5'4" tall, very good singer and lively. Outgoing natured Buddy King also called Robert Stuart he verified to me. I hope I have said something helpful. There's a lot more to say but I was threatened for asking questions.im.Dallas at the time.Threatened to.be in cement at the bottom of the Trinity River. I left town. My.mother worked for the Dallas Times Harold as a columnist
