Arguably one of the best boy singers ever was Yvann (Sangsue) from Switzerland. He took the world by storm until his voice changed and then he stopped performing for around ten years. He's singing again nowadays and although he still has a good voice it just doesn't have the amazing clarity that it had when he was younger. The only two of his songs which ever had official videos are on YouTube...
Le Petit Chevrier (The Little Goatherd)
Oh Mon Papa
My personal favorite song by him was the last he released, as a CD single, just as his voice was beginning to change. His voice still had the same clarity that it had when he was a little younger but there was also a sense of fragility and melancholy about it that really gave it an extra dimension. It never had a video so I made a slideshow for it a while back, just so that I could post the song on YouTube, it deserves to be heard

To Hard-boiled Harry... I have a request if you have the time and software to do it. I remember the editing job you did on "Johnny Doesn't Live Here Anymore", creating short videos of Froggy's speaking parts. I'm glad you did that BTW since the original movie has been removed from YouTube due to copyright violations. Thanks again for your work. Anyway, I'm looking to create a short two second video that isolates my favorite Jeffrey Burton quote (played by Keith Coogan) from a Waltons episode called "The Journal". Here is the episode. The quote I'm looking to isolate into a single video comes between 12:29 and 12:31 where Jeffrey says "You're not the boss of me!". The Journal The best I could do was use splicd.com and link to it, but I can't save it as a single short video. This is the effect I'm looking for: Two second section of the video 12:29 - 12:31Thanks in advance if you can use your editing skills to do it.

Keith telling it like it is in a video clip... And as a GIF... If there are any other little clips you'd like extracting from it or making into GIFs let me know soon, before I delete the main video, because I'm desperately running out of space on my computer

All set! I have everything saved and that's all I needed. Nice work! The gif file is an added bonus. Keith posted some old clips on his Twitter account and I think he'll get a kick out of this. Thanks!

This is precisely what MGM tried so hard to emulate in the later Our Gang movies but they failed miserably. That one and only little social climber who went by the name of Philip McMahon serenades us in true Art Deco style, what a guy...

The seriously underused Sherwood Bailey had real comic timing and a style all of his own. I just love his poetry recital...
High up grew a daffodil
I couldn’t hardly reach her
Said I, to me, I think I will
Get it for my teacher
I climbed to get the daffodil
Out on a limb so thin
I tumbled down, like Jack and Jill
And skinned my little shin
Here’s the pretty daffodil
I brought to my dear teacher
I love her dear and I always will
I’m awful glad to meet ya

I wondered what ever became of Tommy Bupp after his single Our Gang appearance in Hi Neighbor! Well like his younger brother Sonny Bupp he had a short lived but very successful movie career, appearing in dozens of movies until he reached the grand old age of 16. In 1938 Tommy was apparently the first US child actor to travel to England to appear in a movie. Tommy appeared alongside stars such as John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Ward Bond, Clark Gable and Tex Ritter. In fact it was in a Tex Ritter movie called Hittin' The Trail (1937) that Tommy actually sang this song: I'm A Rippin' Snortin' Sherriff. Tommy had a pretty serious singing style, almost as intense as Tommy Bond...
But Tommy Bupp didn't just sing songs he also had them sung to him. Singing Cowboy Dick Foran serenaded the sleeping Tommy with this little number in the 1937 movie Cherokee Strip...

I saw this on Twitter last week and got a kick out of it. I was in kind of a dreary mood and it brightened my day. Here is Ryan on percussion and JD on the ukulele doing a song called "R.E.V.O." which stands for "Realize Every Victory Outright", a cover version of the original by the group Walk off the Earth....
Here is the original song...

Those Texas kids sure do love their guns! After watching some Plowboy music videos I ended up on Evan O'Brien's YouTube channel. Evan plays guitar in Plowboy and also makes some very creative videos with his brother (I assume). He has a whole collection of them on his channel, including a very cool "Quinn Bond" series. A little violent here and there, but very creative! Here are a few samples... Check out his channel for some creative entertainment! O'BrienHouseProductions

Okay, I'm here on a serious mission on behalf of an amazingly talented young musician who needs to get his numbers up on his YouTube channel as well as Facebook and Twitter. His name is Griffin Tucker and he is currently 11 years old. Griffin plays guitar, piano, bass, drums and even the ukulele with amazing skill. He is a huge classic rock fan and has been heavily influenced by The Beatles. He is also a Zounds Sounds student from Texas. I am a member of his GrifFAN army, and am asking for support for this amazing young man. He won me over as a fan big time. I'm very impressed by him, and am proud to call myself a GrifFAN (fan of Griffin). He has two original songs on iTunes, and has many cover songs on his YouTube channel. He sings and plays all instruments in his videos. Here are some samples of his work... Maybe I'm Amazed Help Girlfriend (original song) Dear Prudence (awesome!) Dream On Griffin is a very cool kid with some big dreams. He is very talented and deserves a big following. If you want to help out you can subscribe, like, follow at the follwing places...
