I just bought this arcade card, on eBay, featuring Buck Jones and Buck Black in Durand Of The Bad Lands (1925). Buck was aged ten.

Time Travel is not just a hypothetical theory it's a reality and here is the proof. I just stumbled across this online. Look at the date on the photo... 1918! That's three years before Harry Spear was supposedly even born. No wonder his trousers look like they belong in the 1960s, they probably did.

I also stumbled across this rather cute photo of Jerry Tucker as I've never seen him before. Does anyone have any idea what movie it might be from?

Bonedust and Scooter in the same photo is a good enough reason for posting it. There's a list of club member's names on the wall, I can figure out who most of them were but who was 'Spukey' (Presumably intended to be a humorous rendition of Spooky)?

I just bought this Stax portrait photo of Sherwood 'Spud' Bailey on eBay and it's beyond a doubt the best portrait shot that I've seen of him so far.

Probably the same guy as Spuky, the lucky invisible gang member yet to be licked by Tuffy. Upon further thought, I would like to congratulate you on making a significant discovery. The name of the gang's club in "Telling Whoppers," apart from the last word "Nights," is impossible to make out in any print I've seen, and isn't listed in the most authoritative source, theluckycorner.com. Now "The Royle Secret Order of Lion-Harted Nights" should get a page in the Our Gang Wiki. When the roll call is given, I think Billy Naylor should be included along with the obvious six, but should we also include Spukey?

Beyond a doubt Spukey/Spuky should be included, he was a member after all, don't forget Huffy too. Perhaps he was a ghost and that's why he was called Spooky? They did refer to ghosts as Spooks back then, as in Spook Spoofing, Spooky Hooky and Shivering Spooks. Perhaps that's one of the last major Our Gang challenges that's still unresolved, to identify and find a picture of the elusive Spooky?

Poor Alfalfa, he was obviously brainwashed by watching too many of those patriotic MGM era shorts.

While looking for a freckly photo of Harry Spear to post in a different thread I came across this picture of him, which I don't think I've seen before. I rather like it.

But he did presumably know who Spooky/Spuky/Spukey was, which is more than we do I can't help but admire Tuffy's confidence, "kids he's licked" and "kids he's gonna lick." The possibility of him not lickin' them doesn't seem to have entered into his calculations at all but what else can you expect from a boy with such a high level of confidence that he doesn't wear suspenders or a belt.

Technically Delmar Watson or his younger brother Bobs Watson weren't actually Rascals but they both appeared in Our Gang shorts. Anyway I just bought this vintage photo, taken by their eldest brother Coy Watson Jr, back in the days when Bobs Watson was still just plain Bobby Watson, wasn't yet acting and he was just a fight promoter for Delmar.
