Just to clarify some of the "Bubbles" confusion. Maltin & Bann ALSO thought Edmund Corthell and Billy Wolfstone looked like Marvin Trin (actually Strin, but the studio got the name wrong, too), which is why they list Marvin for both "For Pete's Sake" and "The First Round-Up," as well as any later films that had fat boys that looked remotely like Marvin. All of the Internet references to Marvin are copied from their book. I'm still in the process of researching the payroll ledgers, but I can verify that after "Hi-Neighbor," Marvin did not work in the series again during 1934 or 1935. I've gotten through most of 1936, and his name hasn't turned up again, so he probably only made that one appearance. Thanks for clarifying things, I'd never really given Marvin much of a thought before, probably because I fell into the trap of simply accepting what I'd seen on the 'net. As we all know doing that can be a big mistake. After all the unwary and unquestioning surfer might easily become convinced that John Bothwell and Mrs Casey Coniglione, among others, had really been members of Our Gang.

This is probably my favorite photo of Carl because unusually for a publicity photo it seems that the pretense has slipped if only for a moment and we actually get a glimpse of the real Carl and not his 'let's have a big smile for the camera' Alfalfa character.

Here I am back in the day surrounded by girls. Phooey! You seem to have lots of good pictures of yourself from that time! You were quite photogenic, and the black-and-white photo with the three girls looks as if it could have been a behind-the-scenes Our Gang candid of the actors on break. :-) How often did you wear the sideways cap?

Despite malicious rumors to the contrary this is a publicity photo and not a police identity picture. Grumpy? Not Harry, that was just a little thing that he did called acting. Attachments:

I remember wearing that cap quite a bit when I was real young, but I only found a few pictures of me with it on. I'm not sure if I always wore it sideways, but I have photographic evidence that I did at least some of the time. After my parents died back in 2001 I went through a bunch of old family photos and scanned quite a few of them. I have three older brothers and an older sister, so I have some of them too. Two of the girls in that picture are cousins and I think the other one is a friend of theirs. Anyway, personal photos might make a subject for another thread. I'll post one more here. Here I am in my silent film era. ;D And to stay on topic here is Spanky getting on the bus driver's nerves. I remember this episode...

darn I've posted 9 out of my 10 favorite photos already. Only one more left? Maybe I should have made that 25 favorites?

darn I've posted 9 out of my 10 favorite photos already. Only one more left? :( Maybe I should have made that 25 favorites? It can be awfully hard to narrow it down to only ten favorites. You probably have more than ten good ones just of Harry Spear. :-) This has long been one of my dear favorite pictures of my favorite Gangster of them all. Attachments:

I'm almost in shock, did Mickey have trapped wind or is that actually a smile?

Mickey smiled quite a bit for us, as I recall. :-) Here's an even broader smile, from later on in the same scene. Attachments:

Of course I only jest. I dunn actually mind Mickey Gubitosi at all. He was a rather whiny to begin with but he was simply playing a part that was written that way so you can't really blame him for it. Anyway he looked up to Alfie, literally in this photo but in reality too, and anyone who had Alfie for a hero is an okay guy in my book PS: This is not one of my favorite photos so I still have one more left. This photo is for illustrative purposes only Attachments:

Like mickeygubitosifan said, it's very hard to narrow it down to just ten (and I'm also sure you have plenty more Harry photos to post). But either way, it's your thread!

Limitations? They're for wimps How can you limit your favorites? You either like them or you don't and if you happen to like more than 10 photos surely that's a good thing? I think so anyway. From this time forth this thread shall be without limitations, expect for one... no Janet please Attachments:
