^^^Mickey Daniels is on the poster but Harry isn't? I guess they must have changed the line up during production?^^^

^^^Mickey Daniels is on the poster but Harry isn't? I guess they must have changed the line up during production?^^^ Pathé used the same poster setting for all of the Our Gang films made from 1924-1927, never mind the fact that most of the kids on the lineup had already left the series by 1927.

Robert Blake was always one of my favorite adult actors. He was great as Baretta and in the movie "In Cold Blood", so that makes Mickey one of my favorite rascals. He and Froggy were great together in the final years. I have his book "Tales of a Rascal" and am looking forward to reading it. I've skimmed through it and it has a lot of nice pictures from his child actor days and lots of stories. It's my next read after I'm done with Tommy Bond's book. I emailed Robert Blake and told him how much I enjoyed his work in Our Gang and he was nice enough to email back thanking me. He's a cool guy, and he was a cool kid back then.

He and Froggy were great together in the final years. I always liked the Mickey/Froggy pairing, too. Some of my favorite character match-ups in Our Gang history came during the MGM days, surprisingly. I've long been partial to the films that have Leonard Landy paired with Gary Jasgur. I emailed Robert Blake and told him how much I enjoyed his work in Our Gang and he was nice enough to email back thanking me. He's a cool guy, and he was a cool kid back then. That's a nice story! It's good to hear he still appreciates fans of his Our Gang work, and not just followers of his later film and television credits.
