Darla and Alfalfa were the cutest couple in history. I'm just curious if he ever kissed her. If so, in which episodes?

I suppose they were too young. Silly question.
Actually, I heard that she was rather apprehensive of him in real life; I never would have guessed as much.
Cheers! Paula

She did! In the Leonard Maltin book she says that she liked him and was terrified of Alfalfa sometimes. She also said their families (Spanky and Alfalfa's) always fought because they were the top rascals but only one could be Numero Uno!

I remember watching the Mike Douglas Show when I was a kid, and Spanky and Darla both admitting to having crushes on each other as kids.

Did Darla ever give a reason for been afraid of Alfalfa? Did he show signs of a troubled kid?

He always acted up around the set, and if he did not like you it was a bad situation. He would jam gum down cameras, wreck other movies, and once he indirectly caused Darla Hood to be knocked out by fumes from a car.

:-*I also hear that Alfalfa tricked Darla into thinking that he had a ring in his pocket for her but instead he had a knife & she almost lost her fingers, snap I for sure would NOT want someone to do that to me!

I heard that he put a fishing hook in Spanky's pants, and he had to get stitches. I'm not possitive about that story, because I've heard elsewhere (Leonard Maltin's book maybe) that although their families fought, they got along just fine. Another interesting story happened on the set of Our Gang Follies of 1938, during the scene where Alfalfa get's booed of the stage. In the scene, the crew actually threw the stuff at him. Gordon Douglas told Alfalfa that they were going to hit him with soft tomatoes. Wanting to get revenge on him, they threw hard tomatoes and cabbage at Alfalfa instead. He was extremely angry, and it shows in that scene. When the scene was done being shot, Alfalfa said to his brother, "Come on Harold, let's go kick their a**!"
