Hey all,
Just wanted to say that I recently purchased what appears to be the first reel of the "lost" Our Gang silent film "The Old Wallop" on 9.5mm film. The titles are all in French. It's amazing what you can find on Ebay these days!

Congratulations! I just love watching the old OG silents from that period right before the talkies. I've read the cutting continuity for that one and it sounded interesting. I hope all if it will come out on DVD one day.

Isn't that the short described in the book by Leonard Maltin where baby Wheezer goes aroung punching people? That's the one. It has a nice climatic scene at the end of the film where the gang get stuck on an under construction skyscraper (apparently shot at the same location as Laurel and Hardy's film 'Liberty').
