This movie shows up on TCM every once in a while. There's a scene where one of the angels faiints, and you get to see his face for just a second. It's been several years since I last saw it, but, at the time, anyway, I thought it really looked a lot like Farina. www.imdb.com/title/tt0027700/

Not that anyone is particularly wondering, but I saw this on TCM this past weekend, I am much less confident in the resemblance to Farina. Also, my memory was wrong. The person in question was not one of the angels, but one of Pharaoh's court, after Moses tells them that the first born will die. Also, the movie has a pretty extensive uncredited cast list on IMDB. That leads me to believe that there was some supporting documentation behind it, and if that didn't have Farina, it's most likely not he.

According to Allen's IMDB page, he was only in three films in 1936, all uncredited, and none of them is "The Green Pastures".

On a related note, the IMDB DOES credit Farina for appearing in the film Winterset. Though I have no idea where that came from. Could easily have been speculation. Even in better quality prints, you can barely make out this kid's face. (27:22) www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkMIbcT6XJQThere's also an IMDB claim that Buckwheat was the voice of "Little Ol' Bosko." Again, no idea where this came from. I doubt it's true.

While there is information on who provided the voice to the Looney Tunes Bosko, I can't seem to find anything on the MGM version. Both Wikipedia and IMDB says William Thomas Jr provided the voice for MGM Bosko.

I've tried comparing it with Billie's voice in this short, Hide and Shriek, which came out in 1938, same year as the Bosko in Baghdad cartoon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckyriwmeLJYBosko's voice is higher and clearer, so it could be any child anyway.
