Does anyone know what the music sounds like on this LP? Are they really "original" like it says in the title?

Ok, I bought this recently on eBay and heard it the other day. It started out with the opening music (the Beginner's Luck/Little Sinner/Hi Neighbor/etc version) and it started out exciting, but then the rest of it is dialogue and singing from the musical shorts like The Pinch Singer, Beginner's Luck, Follies of 1936 and '38, etc. It was mildly disappointing, but still ok to have as a collector's item.

On a somewhat related note, if you want the Beau Hunks' versions of these, many of the songs are available on iTunes for 99 cents each.

I have both CDs, but thx tho! Nice that iTunes is selling them now. Their collection keeps expanding, making it easier to find wanted songs.

Hey. We had a bunch of computer stuff happening so I haven't been able to be on for a while, unfortunately. Mark, would you be interested in sending me copies of the Beau Hunks' albums? I would go with the iTunes, but I'm interested in actually using the songs in shorts. If you're interested in a trade or something, could you send me a PM? I'd love to get a hold of these, but I can't really shell out $50+ for it. Thanks.
