I'm a little slow, but.... no, I don't get it. LOL

lol. It's not a big deal, didn't mean to cause a stir. I just thought that the site had been updated (given a new look) about a year ago, so it seemed kind of early to be changing it. Oh, and I like the grainy look of the pictures! I think it adds a lot.

When you have kids, do you think you will want to see grainy pictures of them? Or, would you like to see crystal-clear, digital photos of them. It is bad enough that we are stuck with grainy, contrasty prints of a lot of the films. Why not use the best quality possible for the pictures? They still look old.

I'm considering changing the Alfalfa/Spanky first page to B/W without the grainyness.
Still need to resize the main menu layout (smaller for those with different screen resolutions set) and finish the updates...

Hi all, I really love this site. I am looking forward to see how it's going to be changed. I can't imagine how it can get any better. I am amazed how much time and effort Mark puts into it. I'm sure it's very time-consuming, but the extra time certainly shows through in the professional appearance of the site. Best, Matt

I don't really like the spanky and alfalfa pic but u should put it in a different color. But where the ten most fav rascals are on it I like it.

Ah, now the colour's different on the Main Menu. It looks better with the brownish colour than the blue!

Ah, now the colour's different on the Main Menu. It looks better with the brownish colour than the blue! Yeah, the colors are definitely much better this way. I'm glad I changed them. And I made it smaller to fit others' screens better. The logo on the Spanky/Alfalfa page isn't gone forever. I'm just messing with it. Will be back up along with everything else.

Hey, Mark, I agree with Sidewayscap about the sepia color for the web-site. Looks great! In the "good old days," lots of photos were given the brownish sepia treatment, and the newspapers used that tint in their rotagravure pictorial sections. Just got back from a great celebrity show in Orlando, and one of the highlights was meeting the oldest living "munchkin" (now 91) in costume. A charming fellow! Roach had moved The Little Rascals to MGM just about the time "The Wizard of Oz" was getting going, so we talked about the long time the "munchkins had to spend in daily make-up and costume preparation. Fun reminiscing! Laura june Kenny
