There is no legitimate release of the Cabin Fever vols. 13-22. But, who cares? Hallmark owns the rights, and they don't seem to be in a hurry to release them. As long as they did a decent conversion job, I wouldn't worry about it. It isn't like you are cheating surviving Rascals out of royalties, since I am pretty sure they aren't getting any from the Cabin Fever/Hallmark releases.

I want to get a cheap Laserdisc player off of eBay and then get Cabin Fever volumes 13-21 on laserdisc to have them directly converted to DVD for highest possible quality... ...unfortunately, everytime someone lists those LD boxsets on eBay, they EACH go for at least $100.

Ouch too bad. I do remember seeing Laser Discs on ebay for mucho denero. Oh thanx zoot for the help. I've been looking everywhere for these volumes. But I have noticed that it contains a mysterious 'volume 22'. This DVD contains the episode "Official Officers" among others. Is that an MGM short?

Official Officers is a Pathe silent.

Volume 22 is just some extra silent shorts, probably mastered from the Brentwood releases, and exists simply to fill out the final DVD in the set.

No, I've never ordered those DVDs. I've got the original Cabin Fevers and Brentwoods.

You can usually tell if something is a bootleg if you look it up on amazon.com and it is not listed. Every once in a while a bootleg will find its way there, but for the most part, amazon is legitimate.
