Here's a piece of trivia: the 1930's Saturday afternoon radio program "Kaltenmeyer's Kindergarten" featured the "Good Old Days" tune as its theme. Not only that, but the program gave the tune lyrics. You can hear the song at about 2:10 - archive.org/details/KaltenmyersKindergarten_730I was able to make out most of the lyrics, but there is one line I'm having trouble with. Anyone able to figure out what's being sung? Kaltenmyer's starting Let's all go to school In this kindergarten Where nonsesne is the rules ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Mischief we obey Lots of it And you'll admit We're in the good old days

Kind of like the lyrics to "Louie Louie" Anyway my guess is "Oh the playful moments"

It sounds to me like the following are the lyrics:
Kaltenmeyer's startin' Let's all go to school In this kindergarten Where nonsense is the rule Boy do we pull boners Mischief we all raise Laugh of it and you'll admit We're in the good old days
To 'pull a boner,' incidentally, is an old expression for doing something stupid, or 'boneheaded.'

I'd like to hear what the show sounds like, if it exists.

Great piece of information! Thanks for sharing this information my friend. I am looking for a good Phoenix kindergarten. Actually my nephew is ready for kindergarten and my sister sought my help in finding a good school for him.
