Hope everyone is doing well here!
I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that would be able to help me replace part of the TCM marathon. Three out of ten of my DVDs have been destroyed. I have a wonderful little English bulldog puppy that likes to sink his teeth into anything I accidentally leave lying around within reach, the little rascal! :-) Of course, all three of those DVDs had to be the ones containing the silent shorts, instead of the sound shorts that we already own on the Vivendi DVDs. If there is anyone that could help me replace these specific shorts either by providing HQ downloads or sending DVD duplicates, I would greatly appreciate it and would gladly return the favor somehow. The shorts I'm now missing from the marathon are July Days, No Noise, Big Business, The Buccaneers, Seein' Things, One Wild Ride, Good Cheer, Buried Treasure, Uncle Tom's Uncle, Monkey Business, Thundering Fleas, It's a Bear, High Society, Every Man for Himself, Fast Company, The Sun Down Ltd, and The Mysterious Mystery.
I was unhappy to find out that these discs are gone, considering some of the rare material and the better prints that TCM used, and that they're difficult to replace without official releases of these.

Hi Mark,
I recorded almost all the silents during that marathon and still have the tapes, but they are in VHS format. If that works for you, then I'm sure we could work out some way of transferring to you what I have recorded. Of course, it's quite possible (perhaps even probable) that someone else on here also recorded the silents during the TCM marathon and did so on a format more agreeable to your needs, but I will be happy to lend assistance should I turn out to be your best option.

Thanks, Mickeyfan! So far, your VHS tapes are my best option. I'll send you a PM in a few days if digital or DVD duplicates aren't possible.
