Thank You for all of the new information, especially in regard to the birth dates of the surviving Gangsters for whom I hadn't yet been able to find concrete statistics. I'll update my list accordingly.
I also find the information and new speculation about Scooter Lowry to be very interesting. If people keep on searching, then something might turn up one day. It would certainly be a pleasant surprise if we were to find out that Scooter Lowry is still alive.

The 1940 census for NY has been released. Scooter Lowry is on there, although his name is spelled "Rlmer Lowry" in the search.
No new information that could be useful in finding him today. He was 20 years old, single and still living with his mother and grandparents in Hempstead, NY. His occupation is given as Professional Actor in the Theatrical industry. I wonder if he was still working in theater at the time.
Figured I'd save anyone the trouble of searching for him, especially since his name is spelled wrong.

Someone just posted a note in the Our Gang Wiki that Dorothy Morrison (Green) gave an interview this past December, with a link. If she hasn't passed away in the last six months, she should be added to the list. IMDb lists her as still living, now at age 93.

If she hasn't passed away in the last six months, she should be added to the list. IMDb lists her as still living, now at age 93. Thanks for the heads up. That was a neat little interview. Dorothy is still sharp as a tack and looks a lot like brother Ernie. |

I've still been unable to find birth date information for Valerie Lee, Hugh Chapman, or Patsy Britten, but indications are that they're all still living. Priscilla Montgomery's birth year is estimated as possibly being 1928, Leon Tyler seems to have been born in 1932, and Jackie Horner was probably born in 1933. That group of four Our Gang players is also still living, judging by all available indicators. And, as always, we remain unsure about Scooter Lowry.

Another name to add, Georgia Jean LaRue (anyone know her birth information?). Interesting interview with Dorothy, by the way. There was some nice color footage of Ernie performing with the Step Brothers included in the video. That was from a 1944 film, Greenwich Village, which was made during Ernie's brief stint as one of the Step Brothers (in between leaving the East Side Kids and being drafted for service). Back to Scooter for a moment. I notice that someone has again added incorrect birth and death dates for him over at IMDb. Now they've used the birth and death dates for an Elmer C. Lowry, Jr. who died in 1991. This isn't Scooter as we know Scooter's dad was Willard Lowry and Elmer C. Lowry, Jr. is buried in the same cemetery as Lowry, Sr. So it's the wrong Elmer.
Curiously, whoever added these dates used Hempstead, NY as Scooter's location of birth so whoever it is appears to know a little about Elmer's history.
I requested a correction, but in case anyone takes a look over there, know that this info is wrong. I understand some people have a need for closure, but as far as I know, Scooter unfortunately remains MIA.
