Another Little Rascals reference on Saturday Night Live. The penultimate episode before Lorne Michaels' initial departure features a Weekend Update bit where Bill Murray reports on an image of the Pope and a black gentleman.

LOL. On a satellite radio channel, Martha Quinn asked yesterday which "artist" released an 80s album with such cuts as "Fee Tines A Mady" and "Wookin' Pa Nub..." vimeo.com/74504707 I've never seen this sketch quite this complete or pristine. Thanks for sharing!

Well, this is... vaguely disturbing...
Just found out Bug Hall, who played Alfalfa in the 1995 remake, is starring in one of the AMERICAN PIE movies.
Yes, yes, he's an adult, he's legal, he does have to make a living and all that. But it is somewhat disconcerting to imagine Alfalfa making masturbation jokes...

That yet another AMERICAN PIE movie is being produced 20 years on might be considered excessively masturbatory by some? Not sure if this really counts but Lucas, one of the kids from KIDS REACT, performs in dance contests. One routine he does with his girl-partner is 'L-O-V-E,' the song Waldo sings to Darla in the 1995 remake. Lucas doesn't sing himself or perform to Waldo's version of the song; it's just the same song.

Oddly enough, something called the DICKIE MOORE Stakes is being run tomorrow at Charles Town in West Virginia. But this is simply coincidence, and Mary Kornman never knew this Dickie... "amy more", or ever. This Dickie Moore was (is?) a track bigwig down there. I don't think he ever played hooky to go fishing, but it's Wild WV, one never knows...
