I just got finished transferring a bunch of home-recorded Bugs Bunny cartoons from VHS to DVD. Upon finishing, I realized just how many of my favorites I was missing.
I need the one with "Nature Boy" on it, the one where Bugs is Robin Hood, that kind'a trippy one where Elmer has a dream, etc., etc... Also, "Fresh Hare" (which is on You Tube).
Anybody have the above as well as other old WWII era Bugs episodes on VHS tapes? I know there are some boot DVDs on eBay, but they are not ALL Bugs - just a few episodes.
If there are any episodes you need that I may have, maybe we can do "swap"(?).
Let me know. Thanks!

Warner Bros plan to continue their Golden Collection DVD sets until everything is out. I would just wait until they're released.

I've seen those "Golden Collections" on amazon.com, etc. and they look pretty good. I wish they'd just release Bugs-only DVD's, however, and not mix in all the other stuff.
I've got the following episodes from my VHS transfers (let me see if I can remember them all - eh-ehm!):
Haiawatha's Wabbit Hunt A Hare Grows in Manhattan Wackiki Wabbit Falling Hare Rabbit Punch Hair-Raising Hare Wabbit Trouble The Unruly Hare Tortoise Wins By A Hare The Tortoise and the Hare Hare Conditioned Little Red Riding Rabbit Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears Hare-um Scare-um Hare Tonic Hare-Brained Hypnotist Hare Trigger Hare Ribbin' Easter Yeggs Hurdy Gurdy Hare Baseball Bugs Bugs Bunny Gets The Boid' Super Rabbit Acrobatty Bunny Hare Remover Old Gray Hare Elmer's Pet Rabbit Hare Force Gorilla My Dreams
... I've got 5 others which, at the moment, I can't recall by title.
Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for those future releases.

I just located a great site that lists EVERY Bugs cartoon from the 40's and 50's (and beyond... but who cares about beyond the 50's? ). I've got a lot of collecting to do!

They have played a few on TCM, and they were WWII shorts. But I noticed they cut the sound off briefly when a slang word is spoken.

The cartoon with Bugs Bunny, the Sheriff of Notting ham, Little John who constantly announces the anticipated arrival of Robin Hood, and ultimately Errol Flynn as Robin Hood was Rabbit Hood, released in 1949, after WWII.
Bugs and "Nature Boy" the aborigine, was Bushy Hare. made in 1949 and released in 1950.
I think the trippy one that you are referring to is The Big Snooze(1946), in which Elmer decides he's had enough of Bug's tricks, rips up his contract and goes fishing. He falls asleep as as he dreams of serene scenes, Bugs invades his sleep and gives him nightmares about being run over by a train consisting of baby rabbits, and about being chased by Hollywood wolves while dressed in drag.
