The greatest number of users online was 142 and it occurred at 1:42PM on July 1, 2007

How did it go all the way up to 142 visitors, when before it was just at something like 25? Wow...

It's taken a while but it did increased a little, although nowadays the average seems to be in the twenties.

I suppose that the least number of visitors would be 0 but nobody would ever truly know that for an absolute certainty, because they'd see the visitor count as being 1, if they came to check.

The least number of visitors would be one because the set of possible visitors is from one to infinity. 0 visitors is no visitors. |

It's like Quantum Mechanics. The act of observing changes the outcome. There are no visitors, but in order to ascertain this one must visit to observe and in doing so one becomes a visitor and thereby changes the outcome.

There are no sausages on the moon!
Actually that's a pretty bold statement, which may be factually incorrect, so I'll rephrase it.
Up until this point in time no sausages have even been discover/found or spotted on the moon. That obviously isn't conclusive proof that they're not there but it is fairly strong circumstantial evidence of a sausageless moon.

Following on from the previous post, in an infinite universe of infinite possibilities somewhere there would exists a sausage shape moon, that was actually exactly what it appeared to be, a gigantic and edible sausage.
