My favourite is "The Good Son", a 1980's or 1990s' movie starring Mcauley Culkin and a very young Elijah Wood. It is about a boy named Mark(Wood)who goes to visit his cousin(Culkin), and the cousin turns out to be really odd. He keeps finding weird stuff about the cousin, and finds out who was really responsible for the death of the cousin's brother... It is rated R, but it isn't that bad. I only saw the A&E version, do they cut out stuff? It is definately thriller material. You HAVE to see it, just excellant. I'd put it up there with the rascals, as far as my favourites go.

Not counting short subjects, which would make this list unwieldly. Actually, I watch shorts so often that my favorite features are pretty few and far between. In no particular order:
The Wizard Of Oz Young Frankenstein Harold And Maude Dr. Strangelove It's A Wonderful Life Shadow Of A Doubt The Sixth Sense Life Is Beautiful To Kill A Mockingbird Pinocchio

Did you know ( you probably did ) that The Goonies is supposed to be partly based on "Mama's Little Pirate"?

hehe Yes, I've heard that. I don't think it is consciously based on it though. Pirate stories have been around long before the Rascals. Did you know they're coming out with a Goonies sequal with the original cast as adults? I don't think it will be anywhere near as good, but it'll still be fun.

I wasn't allowed to watch that. We tried when I was about eleven and there was too much swearing. Maybe I would be less sensitive now, the kids at my school have awful mouths.

Hey, The Goonies is AWESOME! And the cussing only makes it more realistic. I know at 10 yrs I had a potty mouth because I thought I was cool. Those kids are 14; they'd definitly be cussing in real life.

Hey, I think I remember the Goonies now! Isn't that the movie starring Annie Ramsey and Corey Feldon? I think the movie came out sometime in 1985, and I think the pop star Cyndi Lauper sung the soundtrack song, "Goonies R Good Enough." I've always thought the late Annie Ramsey was comical as the evil villain.

lol Yeah- it is Corey Feldman. Sean Astin is in it too, from LOTR fame. It is really an awesome film. I used to be able to quote half the film.
