It simply isn't done to play one, without playing the other two that form the trilogy...

Some could assume that, given my username, I would be a fan of the band Rascal Flatts. Truth is, I'm not.
However, I did hear tell of a video of Lionel Richie teaming up with Rascal Flatts doing a modern-day rendition of Lionel's notable song "Dancing on the Ceiling". Although the 1986 music video actually depicted upside down dancing (which was done via a rotating room, which was also used in Fred Astaire's infamous scene in "Royal Wedding"), the song was actually about a happy feeling. If a video of him performing the song with Rascal Flatts did get released, it certainly didn't involve any dancing. That is perhaps the only Rascal Flatts song I would enjoy, if any.
My favorite music genres include mostly upbeat material, namely 1970s disco and party rock, and most upbeat 1980s material. I do like a few ballads from the 1980s, but not very many.
My favorite bands that hail from my country (Canada) are April Wine, Loverboy and Streetheart - bands that are never heard of in many other countries. Streetheart did an awesome cover of the Rolling Stones' "Under My Thumb" in 1979 - I have to admit, it is way, way better than the Stones' original.

Most covers are inferior to the original but not all. Covers that stand out as being better than the original immediately brings to mind Hendrix's cover of "All Along The Watchtower," which blows Dylan's original version away in a Purple Haze. In the Favorite Songs thread I recently posted Disturbed's cover of "The Sound Of Silence," which is at least as good as the original, if not better. Don't just mention songs, post a few videos

Back when he made this Ky Baldwin was an Australian boy with big dreams. He raised the money to make this video by busking on the streets. Now he lives in the USA and appears on Disney TV. His friend Jackson Bunting is also a singer and an actor.
