I've got a tin poster from that film hanging in my bathroom. My mom bought it for me for Christmas a few years back and it's the only thing I can put in the bathroom that won't get ruined by the moisture. I kind of wish it had been "City Lights," though, which is my favorite Chaplin film.

My favorite Charlie Chaplian film is the one where he is a soldier in the war, I really like the part where he gets into a tree costume and runs throught the forest to get away from an enemy. You can't tell which is him until he starts to run again!

That would be the wonderful film, "Shoulder Arms." Another classic one.

My favorite is probably The Gold Rush because of the excellent happy/sad emotion during the dance of the bread rolls sequence. However, I adore City Lights for the final shots and Modern Times for the opening where the tramp goes insane. Chaplin was a true genius and was such an interesting personality.

Watch his work often. The Vagabond brought a tear to my wife's eye, and got her hooked on silents on the spot.
