I'm looking for a DVD copy of Auto Antics (or VHS at least) Would anyone have a copy for trade or loan? I don't have much in the trading stock, so find something you would want, and I'll get it if I can.

If interested, I'll trade you a copy of "Auto Antics" for a copy of any of the below listed silent films. I have all of the MGM Talkies and can provide either VHS or DVD copies.
1) The Cobbler 2) Sunday Calm 3) Your Own Back Yard 4) Telling Whoppers 5) Bring Home the Turkey

I wish I had your list of wants too As luck would have it, I found a film collector who is selling me what is left of his 16mm films of the gang. HIS auto Antics has been sold already Even worse, he "HAD" every single episode of the gang. A gent in Austria cherry picked the films and took all the "lost" episodes.

Do you still want a copy of "Auto Antics? If so, I can copy and send-maybe build up some "good will" for future trading. Let me know, VHS or DVD?

I'm confused OPT... there was a guy who had literally every episode of Our Gang? 221? If that includes the long-lost episodes, dude, that sucks! Oh well. This kind of stuff happens all the time, I'm sure.

I talked with him for hours on the phone. He has/had every episode numbered, and swears up and down he had EVERY one of them, 1-121. He was a film collector, not just an Our Gang collector. When I was asking for "certain" titles, he said, "....the guy in Austria got that one too" I can only take his word for it that he had them all. All I know for sure is, I am filling up "MY" collection of quality 16mm prints at a good price. Right now, I'm buying up the MGM shorts. I'm also in the middle of a deal to get a real telecine projector too not just a 5-blade conversion. But that will be a whole new story when I am done converting the films Wayne OPT

Is it possible that the guy selling off his collection of such films first converted them to some media that can be watched repeatedly without fear of ruining the original.
If that is the case... my mind reels at the possibilities! No pun intended.

I wish he did but he did very little film transfers. In fact, I'm buying his projector for making transfers. The gentleman I'm buying films from is only keeping two of the episodes. He is not the rascals fan that we are. OPT

as far as I know, I am not allowed to buy his "Kid From Borneo" & "For Pete's Sake" He has about 55 titles left, and quit listing them on Ebay so I can buy them ;D Too bad I didn't find him sooner, only Sundown LTD. was left from the silent collection It is VERY clean. OPT

Is this Thornhill Entertainment? I won his "Mary, Queen Of Tots", but it has not arrived, yet. Someone matched my bid with a few seconds left, but my bid was first, so I won. One more dollar and they would have taken it.
His description: Here I am offering a MINT CONDITION 16mm FULLY-SCORED print of the 1925 HAL ROACH / PATHE two-reel comedy production MARY, QUEEN OF TOTS starring OUR GANG Mounted on an 800-foot plastic reel, this print is in MINT CONDITION. There is NOT A SINGLE SPLICE in the entire print. Razor-sharp focus---gorgeous theatrical density. FULL MUSIC SCORE.

no, it isn't the same seller. I hope the print is "MINT" like advertised though. If you don't mind "blackhawk" films, this seller has "MINT" prints too. "carouselvariety" The last film I got from him, I had to take the original tape off the film "three men in a tub" OPT

You're right- I was thinking the one I got was from the same guy who offered Sundown Ltd. It would be nice if this print is better than the versions of "Mary..." that I have seen. I doubt it , though.
