HELP! I need to find the episode where the Gang has been invited to dinner at a rich home and they are served artichokes. It is incredible how each member attacks their food and how they use their creativity to find out how to eat it! I plan to use this episode as an ice-breaker in a strategic planning meeting of our denomination. Does anyone out their remember the name of this particular episode and maybe where I could purchase a video or DVD of the same? Hope someone can help me.

Dear Davew;
Hope you can come up with the info soon because my meeting is in two weeks and I have to order the video or DVD where the episode is and be able to receive it here in Puerto Rico! Sorry if I sound pushy, this is not my intention. It's just a time issue my friend. I pray you understand. Many thanks for helping me.

The artichoke incident happens in "The Pooch" . Stymie says, "it may choke Artie, but it ain't gonna choke Stymie!" I did not recently see the show, so I did some research. I reference an article on the following webpage www.rateitall.com/i-31438-matthew-beard.aspxAccording to the article, this incident does not occur at a rich party. Stymie wanders around town begging for food. He is accompanied by Pete the Dog and a three-year-old Spanky. You can find "The Pooch " on The Little Rascals Volume #9, by Cabin Fever. It is also on The Little Rascals 75th Anniversary tape. This is the one I often see advertised as being accompanied by a PETEY beany puppy. I hope this helps!

My recollection of this is very different. I recall that the gang was served artichokes by Ole' Cap at a sit-down dinner. Stymie looked at the one on his plate and asked, "what's this?" or words to that effect. Cap said, "Stymie, that's an artichoke," Stymie looked at the artichoke and said the famous line.
Perhaps it was used in more than one episode.
