I don't know if this topic has been brought up, but does anyone know whatever happened to the twin sisters who walked on stage and read the screen credits at the beginning of some Rascal epidsodes? I've seen these girls make their introductions in "Love Business," "School's Out," and "Teacher's Pet," just to name of few. They're the girls who take a bow at the end of their intro and say, "We thank you."

This is what it says in Maltin & Bann's book:
'Beverly (also Beverlee) and Betty Mae Crane made a vivid impression performing the "Dear Ladies and Gentlemen" talking titles for all those early sound Hal Roach films. They were close friends of Bob McGowan's daughter Jerry, who says, "The Crane twins became quite celebrated as dancers for a short time. They were featured in the original Broadway cast of Hellzapoppin'. Then Betty Mae was killed in a plane accident. Bev was in Florida last I heard." Look for a grown-up Beverly in the 1950 Bowery Boys film, "Blonde Dynamite."'

Well, it was Bettymae's first husband who was killed in the plane accident. She married again in 1942 and died 1983. Beverly lived in the mid/end 1990s in Ohio. These infos are from a time after the mentioned book was released.

Thank you both for the info. Oh, I almost forgot some more questions: how old were the twins during the time when they made their introductions in the Rascals? Did they have any children?

They were born on April, 11th 1917. So asking about the age... you can find out.
Yes, Beverly has children and grandchildren.
I haven't heard something like that about Bettymae. I can't say.

Thanks again for the info, kay. Oh, it just dawn on me: I've noticed the twins and myself have one thing in common: we have the same birth month and day, but the only difference is that I was born 45 years later. Now everyone in Little Rascals fandom now know my age!
