Another one: A grown-up Spanky had a cameo as the mayor in THE AURORA ENCOUNTER, a kids' movie based on a UFO story of dubious veracity, if that's not redundant, about a spacecraft crash-landing in the Old West. The film is also semi-infamous for featuring a young boy who suffered a disfiguring illness as the alien, his deformed features theoretically making him 'look like an alien.' In their defense, the kid apparently found the whole experience great fun.
