A sore neck from falling asleep in his chair during the movie. In TIME OUT FOR LESSONS, Alfalfa's sport was originally going to be ____________________________________ Spelunking, but the MGM brass didn't like the "sound" of that! Instead of the 'Our Gang' putting on a show, ALADDIN'S LANTERN (1938) was originally supposed to be about ___________________________.

Aladdin, a Chinese immigrant (yes, Aladdin was Chinese) whom the Gang befriends. Aladdin tries to convince the others that his family's old lantern is magical, and that a jinni lives inside. The lamp breaks into multiple little pieces, and Aladdin is forced to put it all back together by hand.
In SURPRISED PARTIES, the Gang originally steered Froggy away from the surprise party by ______________________.

However, it was decided to file away the smallpox dog angle for a rainy day! Instead of a battle with a rival gang, ______________________________ was supposed to take place in FIGHTIN' FOOLS (1941).

An argument between Mickey and Froggy, with Spanky and Buckwheat acting as peacemakers. However, they decided it wouldn't be proper to have two Gang members at odds and they should all be nice to one another instead.
Instead of tying the Gang's clothes in knots while they're swimming, Slicker's gang was going to __________________________________ in FIGHTIN' FOOLS.

Rub poison ivy on the gang's clothes. Shortly after the gang put them on the itching got so bad they had to tear off all their outer clothes, leaving them in the same situation as the final draft, except for some additional days of agony.
In THE BIG PREMIERE, instead of remaining unused, the boxes of cement for the stars besides Buckwheat were supposed to ____________________________ .

Hey, they might have come in handy after Spanky's departure following this short! Instead of RADIO BUGS (1944) being about the gang trying to get a sponsor for their own Radio show, it was to be about _________________________________________.

The Gang becoming exterminators and trying to rid a radio station of a ghost. It featured one of Buckwheat's most memorable lines - "That's a really big bonbon."

eating it, so that the others wouldn't have a car. Unfortunately, this would have gotten Butch sick, and Woim would have to stay home and take care of him (isn't that sweet?), keeping them out of the race. Buckwheat and Porky would have won instead.

In FIGHTIN' FOOLS, it is apparent that the gang left most of their knotted-up clothes behind as they trudged home from the swimming hole mostly empty-handed. Due to time considerations, the scene revealing what they did with the knotted-up clothes was cut. In this deleted scene, the gang ________________ .

If Ranch Dressing is what he wants, Ranch Dressing is what he gets. Apparently, this "idea" was too silly, even for the MGM brass! Instead of being about an impending blessed event, BABY BLUES (1941) was originally to be about _________________________.
