With photos (one photo. One) I have seen, and interview bits on Youtube, I think that Travis Tedford and Brittany Ashton Holmes dated, at a time closer to the film's release. Of course, they were around the age of five, so I don't even know what would considered dating at that age. A user on Youtube compiled some scenes from interviews, and the host asks about a friend/girlfriend. I can't quite tell who's talking, but seeing as Brittany whispers to Travis, I assume he was talking about the two. I could be wrong, I haven't seen the whole things! But, in an Ask Me Anything, Travis states that Brittany was his first kiss. There's also an older photo 22vision got for their 20th anniversary video, which features Travis with his arm around Brittany. Even if it isn't true, what I have seen makes me smile, as I see it reminiscent of Darla Hood's fondness for Spanky. Pretty cute. Picture is included, because I love it so much.

So what I'd like to ask is, did Travis and Brittany end up getting married eventually?
And did either Travis or Brittany get involved in later movie projects non-Little Rascals related? I know Bug Hall (who originally played Alfalfa) portrayed an adult employee (ice cream vendor?) in 2014's The Little Rascals Save the Day.

I don't believe Brittany did any further acting, but Travis had a few minor roles. He's stated that if he can stay nearby to family, he'd love to do more acting (I think).

According to the Our Gang wikia (which isn't the most reliable source, obviously, but still has information that is obviously true) Penelope Spheeris began each day by hugging each young actor to ensure trust and closeness in the group. Even if it is not true, oh my gosh does that sound adorable. There's other information listed, but none of them resonated with me like that one did. Also, those weird words that they said throughout the movie actually had meaning. "A few of these words are "azuga" (good or approved), "yoy" (Yay or yes) and "smoley-oley" (congratulations)." That's pretty neat, despite yoy being a ridiculous sound, in my mind.

I've expanded my music taste a fair bit, recently, and I've come to terms with the fact that the song "The Kids Aren't Alright" by Fall Out Boy reminds me remarkably of this movie, and the shorts. Maybe it's the lyrics "And in the end, I'd do it all again / I think you're my best friend", which just makes me think of the gentle hope in forgiveness and friendship that the movie has such a theme of. As for the shorts, however, the same applies, alongside the lyric "Don't you know that the kids aren't alright?" sticking out in my mind as what could be inferenced as a reference to many of the former actors bitter ends. Obviously, I'm not saying that is the true meaning of this song, only that it's a song that binds childhood nostalgia perfectly for me.

I'm a fan of the photos 22vision gathered for the 20th anniversary photoshoot-- just the older photos, not the actual photoshoot. I mean, that's cute, as well, but I love seeing the kids just be themselves, out of character. With this photo, I want to note the fact that apparently, Bug Hall and Travis Tedford became close friends with Blake Jeremy Collins (Woim). That's kind of interesting, in my eyes. I think Brittany Ashton Holmes looks adorable in those overalls.

I had to make a commercial for one of my classes, and I chose this movie. I would've used the shorts, but I knew none of my actors were familiar with them, and so I made a compromise in using footage of young Spanky, alongside that reunion clip? That one that had Jackie Condon with Alfalfa, Mary Kornman (I think) with Darla? I used footage of those, alongside my actors playing out familiar scenes from the movie. I used a remix of Good Old Days, with that. I actually did fairly well on the commercial. Thanks, Our Gang!

Nice! Just curious, what was the concept for this commercial? It was just a commercial advertising the 1994 film, using some of the more recognizable scenes. The ballet recital scene, the date scene, etc. However, I did want to reference the whole reason the movie was ever made, so I'm glad I found a way to sneak the footage in.

Apparently Robert Blake won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 16th Annual Youth in Film awards. (I was checking out the 1994 Little Rascals award for best youth ensemble) He won it for his role as the original "Little Mickey". I'm having my doubts that they call him little due to the Mickey that came before him.

I hate to keep posting and posting on this, but me and my aunt actually contacted Travis Tedford on snapchat. He added us back and answered my question of Spanky and Porky being related (he said that none of them were related, to his knowledge). He's really awesome though. We also got a response from Zac Mabry, though no add-back.

This movie was actually the first Little Rascals related thing I saw as a kid. Luckily my parents quickly introduced me to the original Our Gang, which I ended up liking even better! I think it's too bad that all the original rascals still living at the time were excluded from the production. Overall, I would say that it's a decent film full of 90s nostalgia and even has quite a few funny moments, although it still doesn't touch the originals. On top of that, I think they did an alright job of balancing the difficulty of the 30s/90s aesthetics.
Watching the movie now, the one thing I find odd is how noticeable the age difference between Alfalfa and Darla is. Doing a quick google search, Brittany Ashton Homes would have been 4/5 and Bug Hall was around 8/9.
