TCM showed some great Charly Chase shorts earlier this month, and I watched Fraidy Cat, and was suprised to see my favorite Little Rascal, Joe Cobb.
What are some other "cross-over" shorts or feature films where the Rascals appear?
Thanks, CB

Mary Kornman is in the 1925 Charley Chase short "Isn't Life Terrible?", but I have not seen it. A 16mm print just sold on Ebay for a pretty high price.

There are LOTS of crossovers I can't name them all... There's Darla Hood playing the lead role in Laurel and Hardy's "The Bohemian Girl", we see Mickey Daniels in one of the Harold Lloyd silents "Dr. Jack", Darla was in "Neighborhood House" with Charley Chase... that's all I can think of. EDIT: I saw Alfalfa in "Life Hesitates at 40", another one of Chase's shorts. He must have loved the gang.

Alfalfa also appears in It's a Wonderful Life as a guy that George Bailey cuts in on during the dance. He is the guy that flips the switch that opens the basketball court floor to reveal a swimming pool.

In addition to the aforementioned Mickey Daniels, "Dr. Jack" also had Jackie Condon in it. And in addition to the three already named in "The Cracked Iceman" is Tommy McFarland. Another film that belongs on the list is "The Battling Orioles" starring Glenn Tryon, which had Daniels, Condon, Morrison and Cobb in one scene. There's also "45 Minutes From Hollywood," which shows a bit of "Thundering Fleas" at one point, and the Boy Friends short "Too Many Women," which shows scenes from "Ask Grandma" and (presumably) "High Society." There's also "Babes In Toyland," which has many Our Gang kids in it, but most of the ones that are identifiable are peripheral kids. Jerry Tucker is easily seen. Scotty Beckett appears in the film, but I haven't actually spotted him in it. And don't forget the Eddie Cantor feature "Kid Millions," which has a bunch of the 1934-era gang members (but not Spanky or Scotty).

Many of the kids had parts in many other pictures. I've been attempting to keep track for a long time. If anyone has a particular Gangster in mind, just say the word! My list consists of feature films mainly.

Stymie also appeared as Redd Foxx's friend "Otis" in a few Sanford and Son episodes.
I just got a chance to see Charley Chase's "Isn't Life Terrible?," but I do not see Mary Kornman in it. I read that it wasn't complete, but I doubt if there is much footage missing.

Joe Cobb is also in the 1924 Charley Chase short, "Young Oldfield." His entire part consists of a couple of shots of him sneezing.
