GAVELLO, Betty Ann - Born July 20, 1918, to Ena and Adolph Bolenbach, passed away June 3, 2003 at the age of 84 in her Atherton home she so loved, ending a long-term illness. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Elmer in 1998 to whom she was married for almost 60 years. As a young child her family moved from the mid-west where she was born to Los Angeles where she trained in dance and theatrics. Soon thereafter she earned a coveted contract with the then dominant Hal Roach Studio and acted in the Spanky and Our Gang movies. She continued her childhood career into her early teens gaining the opportunity to act with the then young Anthony Quinn and dance with the late Broadway star, Gwen Verdon. While married, raising her family, she became a licensed real estate broker, highlighting her success in that professional career by selling 30 homes in one month in the Gavello Glen Tract, Sunnyvale. Her passionate hobby in life was bridge for which she earned the rank of "Life Master." She is survived by her daughter Gail and son Gary, daughter-in-law Kristina and her three grandchildren, Aubrey Anna (age 1), Garrett Alan (age 3) and Bryant Alan (age 1) who lived with her in her home for the last year of her life and were the source of great pride, comfort and happiness. A private family service is being held. Donations to your favorite charity are preferred in lieu of flowers. McAVOY O'HARA CO. (415) 668-0077

I'm wondering if anymore of these narrated silent were made. I can only imagine what a narrated "Lodge Night" would sound like... There is one of Jubilo, Jr.

I wouldn't really call that "fraud." The seller is just selling old newspaper photos. The fraud happened years ago - just like the Don Marlowe crap that keeps showing up.
