"Amateurs Delight" is part of "Stage Fright" and "Speedy Action" is part of "Fast Company" I wondered if anyone had recogised the pictures on the eBay listing as to what films they were from. I'm still waiting for them. I hope they arrive really soon!

My favorite silent is "Derby Day" the one where the Gang holds a race and little Farina wins. I like how it turns into a footrace at the end!

My favourite silent would be "Derby Day". It is the first silent I saw and one of two I ever saw. Farina is so small in this one, eh?

"July Days." It's the ultimate Mickey-and-Mary episode.

I haven't seen many silents, but of the few I've seen, "Dogs of War" is probably my favorite. Many people in today's Politically Correct society may cringe at watching a 3-year old toddler (Farina) getting nailed in the face 3 times with tomatoes (making him cry) but I found it hysterically funny. That is the way kids play (or at least used to) in real-life. The littlest one always gets roughed up.

My favorite silent? It might be "Commencement Day" if I could see the whole film, but as of now it would be either "Election Day", "Stage Fright", or "The Champeen!" I suppose, but in a way they ALL are my favorites!! By the way, I can hardly wait for Robin's new releases!

Robin's new releases? I just noticed that Robin's post about releasing "Ten Years Old' and "Telling Whoppers" was from 2005!!! Don't hold your breath.

My favorite silent "Our Gang" is Derby Day. It's very entertaining! I also really like "Giants vs Yanks." Farina is soooo little.

Darla Hood was not even born when the silents were being shown I believe she was born in 1931. I think she was four in her first short.
