Yes. I'm trying to figure out what to do about the screencaps on the shorts synopsis pages, in case I get any threats. It'll be sad to take down the title cards.

If you can present those screencaps as purely informational in nature, then you might be able to avoid any copyright issues. Of course, the point would be moot if they sued you and you didn't find it worthwhile to battle it out in court.

It would be strange if they made an issue over it. There are still many OG things on Youtube that they haven't pulled down -they seem to leave the "tribute" things up, I guess since they aren't actual "film" pieces.

Wow, that is bad news. You had several shorts that had scenes that my tapes didn't have, like the entire second reel of One Wild Ride. I'll keep checking in here for updates, and good luck.
