Just about anything by Helen Reddy, except "Peaceful".

I consider myself to have pretty good taste in music (I'm a Beatles fan and love anything from that era), but I really dislike "American Pie". When it comes on the oldies station, I think "that's eight minute they could have played other songs in the duration of." I also don't like pretty much anything by Journey, especially "Don't Stop Believing". It's so corny and such a cliche. Strangely enough, I love "MaCarthur Park" (the whole original version), "Honey", "In-a-Gadda-da-Vida" and another death ditty, "Patches" by Dickey Lee, four agreed clunkers by some others. I didn't know Honey kills herself though.

I've often wondered if the instrumental portion of "MacArthur Park" was the inspiration for Mason Williams' hit "Classical Gas".

Another one I don't like is Hotel California. I just think it's too self-indulgent and long.

As much as I enjoy 80s music greatly, these are some of the songs that will never be on my playlist, despite all of them except for one being from the 80s:
"Solid" by Ashford & Simpson. "Love Will Conquer All" by Lionel Richie. "99" by Toto. "The Goonies R Good Enough" by Cyndi Lauper. "Cherish" by Kool & The Gang. "Pressure" by Billy Joel. "When I Looked At Him" and "Seasons Change" by Expose. "After the Love Has Gone" by Earth Wind & Fire.
Seriously, I can handle most of today's pop and (c)rap music more than the above mentioned. I can even handle "Disco Duck" more than the songs I named.
For a while I didn't like "Sweet Love" by Anita Baker, but I seem to enjoy it now, but in moderation (I am listening to it now while logged on to Second Life as I post this).
Another song I truly do hate - to an extreme level - is "Cha Cha Slide" by DJ Casper. It's just so darn annoying.

The Shaggs "My Pal Foot-Foot" (About a lost Cat) is bad as anything I recall ever hearing! In fact, if they had been around for American Idol during the Simon Cowell era, they might very well have represented a new low for him, as well! As for me, I listened to this on YouTube. For the first half, my mouth was agape in utter disbelief over the sheer extreme awfulness! Near the end, I actually started laughing, probably over the extreme absurdity of this track's extreme awfulness! If I was Foot-Foot, and was being called to in that way, I think I'd remain in hiding! CHEERS!

The only thing that is almost as bad as this godawful song is his godawful suit.
