This sort of derives from the favorite movies thread, but also covers some of Mark's favorite hobbies:
Warner Brothers (Bugs, Daffy, etc.) - Especially during the '40s and '50s. Virtually the funniest cartoons ever.
The Simpsons - Or to be more specific, the first five years or so of the Simpsons, which I think were about as good as anything has ever been.
Max Fleischer (Betty Boop, Popeye, etc.) - My favorite cartoons of the '30s.
Wallace and Gromit - Okay, it's puppet animation, but close enough. The most impressive character animation achieved during the '90s, in my opinion.
Bullwinkle and Rocky - As well as various other Jay Ward series, like George Of The Jungle, Super Chicken, etc.
Disney - I'm a bit picky when it comes to which Disney stuff makes my list. I'll stick with the early '30s shorts and the features up through Bambi or so. After that, they're a bit hit and miss.
Tex Avery - He essentially invented '40s-style cartoons while at Warners and peaked while at MGM.

I love South Park and its witty humor. Full of hilarious satire. Who can not like Eric Cartman?
"You will respect my authorit-ah!" --- "Dey terk our jobs!" --- Stan- "Where's Sparky?" Eric- "Maybe he's at the mall shopping for some leather pants." --- "TIMMY!!" --- "Don't forget to bring a towel!....... wanna get high?" --- "Jesus and Pals- Too Hot for TV" Video --- General: "GD'd Windows 98! Get Bill Gates in here" [Enter Bill Gates escorted by guards] General: "Bill you said if we upgraded it would be faster and better." Bill Gates: "Well, really it is we added 10 million line of code and..." [General shoots Bill Gates in the head] --- "Drugs are bad, mmkay?" --- "I can't find the little man in the boat" --- "I'm sorry Wendy. I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die" --- Cartman in a deep voice after pulling something gory out of the bathroom trashcan- "you shouldn't have done that... he's just a boy... poor little feller" --- "Can I tell you something, Miss Ellen?" "Of course you can, Wendy" "Don't **** with me" "What?" "You heard me! Stay away from my man, b**** or I'll whup your sorry little *** back to last year!" "....bye Miss Ellen!"

What what?
Challenge of the Superfriends? That was a cartoon about a bunch of DC Comics superheroes versus their villains.
Tennessee Tuxedo was a cartoon penguin voiced by none other than the late Don Adams. He had a walrus friend named Chumley, and one time I could have sworn he said "Chumley, don't get smart with me."

1. Popeye - the Fleischer b/w ones mainly, but also the color Paramounts and even the made-for-TV ones of the early 60s. Yes, I know, they have a bad rep but I grew up on them and still enjoy them, in moderation.
2. Warner Bros. - some wonderful cartoons; the ones I like best tend to be those that rely on verbal humor (e.g. Porky's stutter, Elmer Fudd's w's, etc.). OTOH a little Road Runner goes a long way with me...
3. The Tex Avery MGM's (esp. King Size Canary, one of the funniest cartoons I know)
4. Paramount/Famous - mainly Little Lulu, Little Audrey and Casper the Friendly Ghost (yes, I know it's a one-gag series but I happen to like the gag!)
5. Disney - the b/w Mickeys, esp. the earliest ones. "Steamboat Willie" is a work of genius IMO.
6. Felix the Cat - the silents, but also, in small doses, the made-for-TV ones (Trans-Lux).
7. Woody Woodpecker
8. The Perils of Penelope Pitstop (Hanna-Barbera) - love that Paul Lynde as the villain!
